saves crashes

hi there,

having crashes after trying to load a game, and all of a sudden even when i try to save a game...it goes right to desktop.

have win7...

any ideas?

Same probs for me

Windows Vista

-scratch that - I forgot to 'Run As Admin' as per the Vista instructions

windows 7 64bit here and i am using admin.

any other suggestions, maybe some staff member by all chance.

ps: oh btw, i noticed that there is no save game folder to be found, is that possible, and if so, where do i find the saves, plz?

I'm still running XP 32-bits so I'm afraid I'm not much help. One thing that's worth a shot is to uninstall and reinstall running as Admin. Also, delete the CEaW and / or the CEAW Grand Strategy folders under My Documents before reinstalling.

The vanilla version saves games in:

*\My Documents\CEaW\data\save, *\My Documents\CEaW\data\hotseat & *\My Documents\CEaW\data\pbem

GS saves games in:

*\My Documents\CEAW Grand Strategy\data\save, *\My Documents\CEAW Grand Strategy\data\pbem and *\My Documents\CEAW Grand Strategy\data\hotseat

the admin thing seems to work. have installed again with that option and now it saves all and loads.

hope no more buggers will pop up!
