Nope, Pete is in the Lance and Bow period. That said winning Britcon two years running is a significant achievement. If he does then the top ranking slot will likely be secure for the rest of the year.

I'm not sure I've made the wisest choice of army though. I tried to change it today but I've left it too late.

We'll see what the wreckage looks like after next weekend....

No Ottomans - but it is good to try differet things.

Hi Pete

And here I was fearing an Ottoman on Ottoman matchup with you.

Pray tell what are you taking?

Lots and lots of LB. Could be a bit one dimensional though.

Drat! and there's me in a different period with the Aztecs. Those boys really like facing massed longbow.

Well Graham, you could have always followed Gille's example and taken Aztecs to the Lance and Bow period ;)

I was tempted; they're good against undrilled knights too. Armoured spear and Swiss pike is a different story....

Yes - not a match up I'd enjoy. Now how to avoid Gilles?

>Including Rampage in the Hall of Honour is on the other hand a bit more of a problem as the ELO rankings assume each game has each player with equal army strength.

Seems to work well enough in the chess world, where every game is between two players with armies of very different "strength".
