Phantom Support?

In the lower left section, there are two routing HW BGs (Thracian), a disrupted mob, and a mob with a grey arrow fighting some armoured slaves.

The armoured slaves in that situation were initially back two hexes (NW), fighting one of those routed HW BGs. So the HW BG was adj. to the slaves (since it was fighting it) but the mob was alone up on its hill.

HW BG breaks in combat and routs back behind mob. Slaves pursue up hill and into mob. Mob now fights and you can see the die rolls in the details box.

MOB got 4 dice and the armoured slaves got 2 dice. I see that they are reduced by 1 for the disrupted mob adj. to them, but the second die removed was for the routing HW BG (the support was shown over it even though it was two hexes away and routed).

Is this phantom support or am I missing something?

Slaves got 4 dice and the slaves got 2 dice.

It's hard to follow which slaves you are referring to. Roman armed slaves or the families?
