Weather and Night Fighting

Is weather modelled? For example, blizzards and fog effect visibility. Also, how about night fighting? Does this effect visibility?

There are sand storms and night missions which effect visibility.

Sandstorms and night missions too? And moddable? Man, I have to get a Boot Camp partition set up again, pronto. BA is shaping up to be something very very special in my 20+ years of gaming.

I believe night causes a 20% reduction in visibility. Or was that 30%? Maybe 33%... lol. Well you get the idea. There is rain also but IIRC it's up to the modders how much they want this to impact movement, etc.
