Question about Defence and Attack atributes of leaders

Hi,

I have a question about the defence and attack attributes of leaders. I know that for instance Rommel adds 1 to attack value but is that one to infantry, air or tank combat or is it across everything.

The same goes for generals with defence values - does this go across everything defence related.

If someone could explain how this works that would be great.

Attack bonus is to ground attack. Defense bonus is to ground defense. So the leaders won't give bonuses to air attack, shock, naval attack etc.

Does ground attack include bonus when attacking armour as well?

It increases the armor unit's attack value (not shock value). So, yes, the ground attack increase from a leader affects armor units as well.
