Khazar Query (Western Turkish, Decline and Fall)

Hi,

The notes for this list says Khazar Nobles can dismount as HF Armoured Off Spear, etc.

This would be appropriate for the Lancers in the post 738 period, but does it also apply to the Protected Shooty Cav in the period before that?

I suspect not, but then I'm no expert on Khazar history...

Good call - really the Protected ones should dismount as Protected as well, although there is no reason why they cannot be OS.

Fortunately the dismount is still cheaper than the (Protected) mounted version so it isn't much of a big deal

Haven't got the book with me but IIRC those named as Khazar Nobles are armoured lancers. The Bw types are just named as Nobles.

I do have the book with me and it is not so - because right at the start of the list Khazar nobs can be shooty cavalry as well.
