US Team Tourney Austin Texas January 2011

The US Teams Organizing Committee (USTOC) is pleased to announce that the 2011 Team Tourney for FOG will be held MLK weekend (Jan 2011) in Austin, Texas.

Rob Smith of Great Hall Games will be our Host.
The event will be held at the Wyndam Hotel and Convention Center in Round Rock, TX. This is the annual site for MilleniumCon so may be familiar to some of you.

Please look forward to more announcements in the near future.

USTOC has decided that the tourney will consist of 4 player teams divided by dates.

The dates will be posted in a seperate e-mail soon.

Please communicate to me or any other members of USTOC if you have any questions or plan to put a team together to compete.

Rob has promised a significant number of prizes and remember that the winning team received right of first refusial to represent the US in the International Team Event held in the fall in Lisbon.

Dates are January 15 - 16 , 2011

The "Dates" I referenced in the original post refered to the Period dates for the 4 players on each team.

Which I have handily jotted down!

If I have this right, it is:

Period 1 3000 BC - 459 BC

Period 2 458 BC - 493 AD

Period 3 494 AD - 1149 AD

Period 4 1150 AD - 1500 AD

Any list from any book from these timeframes, correct?

Just for Gino, I have LH armies for periods 1, 2 and 3 which are finished, and I just got some Mongol castings for period 4.
