Spartans as allies

During the beta, it was pointed out that the subject hoplites should not be superior, and this was changed. However, if you look at the army list for the Early Hoplite Greeks, and bring along the Spartans as allies, you will see that those crafty subject hoplites have managed to keep their "superior" ranking intact. I assume they are supposed to be average as well, just like on the revised Spartan army list.

As a special reward for being so helpful, can somebody direct me to which army list it is that makes use of the Dacian heavy weapon MF?

I was playing around the scenario editor, and they look pretty impressive.

Actual Dacians won't appear until Legions Triumphant, but if you were to wander into Thrace things may look somewhat familiar.

Nope, didn't see the unit I'm thinking of. To see the miniature I want to use, load up a scenario and choose to place "Dacian" soldiers. There are only a few units under that category; I am thinking specifically of the Dacian MF. The miniature is of three people all holding a falx each; I can't find that particular unit graphic used in any army right now.

The other Dacian troops appear to be the miniatures used for the Galatians, but those armies do not have the MF falxmen, either

It ought to be used for the Bastarnae in the Pontic list, but I don't think it is.

In 1.3.0 we updated the Dacian and Sarmation battle group images in line with the much nicer ones supplied with Immortal Fire. Keith

I wouldn't know about those nice new Sarmatian images since the Bosporan lists with them as allies report them as missing

. Now I do see there are some nice new Sarmation images in the folder where the Sarmatian ones should be.
