DAG armies broken by new update!!!
I just down loaded the two updates and now the Bosporan armies, at least, seem to be broken. A challenge I just issue and that was accepted now shows me with 12 or 18 Thracian LF (with MF images) that I did not include in my list and the 6 Thracian MF I had in the list (the max) seem to have gone missing. This may just be an issue with the Bosporan list and any others that are having new allies added as part of Immortal Fire but I wanted to post a warning at any rate. When I currently bring up the Bosporan list in DAG after the updates, it is complaining about missing the files for the new Sarmatian allies.

No, it didn't happen in the beta but the Sarmatian information came out at the same time as the changes in the XML for the Bosporan list I think. I also don't think I tried loading any exsting Bosporan armies in the beta once the allies were added. If you want, I can try copying over my Bosporan list for this game to the machine I have the beta on and see if it has the same problem.iainmcneil wrote:Did this happen in the beta - I cant see how it would be different now?

Keith did mention during the beta that there could/would be issues with army lists created in an earlier beta update when trying to load them in a later one. It looks like the file for a saved army just uses a numeric ID for the troops incldued in the army so this will break if the IDs used in the army XML file change.

DAG broken armies - Only early and mid Bosporan broken
It looks like it is only the early and mid Bosporan lists (ones with Sarmatian allies) that are broken. When I open them in the DAG it gives me an error dialog that there are 4 missing Sarmation cavalry images. (This or something close to it also occurred in the first beta release where the new allies were added but was fixed in later.)

Broken in 1.2.16 beta as well
Looks like the Bosporan lists were giving the same errors for missing Sarmatian lancer images in 1.2.16. I know they worked in one of the beta updates so looks like they were broken again int he last and I must not have tried using the Bosporans after the last beta update.

spelling error in file names
One of the beta updates corrected the spelling of "Sarmation" to "Sarmatian". Looks like the XML file was updated but the image file names were not.
There are two sets of Thracian mercenary lines in the early and mid Bosporan army XML files. This is presumably what is causing the issue with my existing game/challenge.
