FOG V2 ???

Post by kralsaaistre »

Hello
Is there any project of a version 2 ?
With the new amendments, more photos for the difficult or explicit cases and so on?
Thank you

Apparently so. I think one of the team has already mentioned it on a post here.

They may be working on it, however, FoG(R), FoG(N), FoG(FoW), FoG(UMod), FoG(SF), FoG(LoTR) and FoG(AotZFE*) will be published first

AotZFE* - PHil has got this wrong, it should be AotNZFE

Or Attack of the Nazi Zombie Flesh Eaters.

They had to change it so they can sell the game in Germany. A big market for mindless zombie slaves

Published by Zager & Evans ?

I must admit my one complaint with FoG is that they seem hell bent on rushing out the next versions before they have finished off this one, for example when will they get round to the Plantangenet English allies for the Welsh list ?

I find myself defending Shipman, The Good Doctor and the Loose Cannon...

I suspect the authors would love to change bits of FoG now that they have seen it stretched with several years of play, but I suspect that the fly in the ointment is Osprey release schedules - i.e. because FoG was popular Osprey say we want FoG(R) by April 2010 so we can send it to the printers for release in October 2010 then that is set in stone.

If Osprey have no plans for a version two then we can expect with their production schedule it will be at least 18 months lead time before heading off to the printers.

Similar with the army books...

Publish FoG V2 in PDF as a free download while the other versions are run through the print mills. I assume changes will still be made, then reprint the book when a hole is in the schedule after the Bikini Clad Nazi Zombie Flesh Eaters version.

Well they might do if they could find it. I tried the other day and spent ages looking for it on www.fieldofglory.com, but to no avail.

Not unrelated - is the search function down in perpetuity?

Please don't link me the convoluted outside search sequence. I appreciate the effort, but I am not inquiring about that.

My question is if the basic search function on this site is ever going to be restored?
