FoG miniatures query

Post by wallacer »

Hello all,

I use these monk figures in my FoG Early Crusader army. I would like to buy more of these monk figures but am not sure who makes them. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance.

Almost seems like it's a law of physics that any unidentified figures in a collection will turn out to be Essex :)

Here is the Essex's code and description:
MFPE17 Carroccio: 4 wheeled religious wagon with altar mast and large banner with praying monk, pulled by 4 oxen.
FWIW I think you can spend your £ 5.77 in a better way because the carroccio fits in a crusader army like cabbage as snack food.

Something that would go together like cabbage and hamhocks would just be monks and nuns.

Donnington http://shop.ancient-modern.co.uk/univer ... s-85-c.asp makes some nice monks and Museum makes some nice monks and nuns RL01 and RL02 http://www.museumminiatures.co.uk/ and Mirliton make some potentially surly monks http://www.mirliton.it/popup_image.php?pID=13716

I've thought about using the praying monks for disruption markers, and the priest for fragmented.

This would be for the Medieval Welsh of course, a Godly nation and a pious army.

Thanks for the replies.

Essex inform me that the monks can be purchased separately as MFPE16.

Mirliton also make a very nice Carroccio.

Yes.

They make a pig on a roasting spit. For a pig's arse, you will need to buy the full model and clip it in half.

There are no half measures. You must go whole hog.
