Thats why Rome made peace and became blood allies with armenia, the troops just were too impatient during lulls in the battles :D (just kidding Ian)

Seems busy to me - two battles finished and three raging, er... or simmering or er... in one instance quietly revolving until it probably vanishes up its own fundament.
But all good fun and part of the rich tapestry of the lost world.

For all those wondering where I was -

I'm back!

For much of the past two weeks I've been (1) away on holiday in Wales and (2) serving with the Roman army in Gaul (see picture)

I cannot bear to see others having fun that the King of Albia cannot!!

I hearby announce my intention to invade the kingdom of the Nervii - they seem to have no friends!!

I will post the challenge - password "england"

May the best win!!

Looks like fun. I have never seen so many Roman re-enactors in one place. We get the Ermine Street guard at Caerleon, but nothing like so many.

Where in Gaul?

It was at Marle (near Reims), one of the biggest contingents was from the Ermine Street Guard, but there were groups from France, Italy, Holland, Belgium & Germany as well.

Declaration of War by Clan Braveheart on New Albia

Post by davouthojo »

The Lost World community has not extended our traditional warm welcome to our newest empire, New Albia.
Now finished with their triumph in football, our Spanish army is free to redress this oversight.

They will visit New Albia, a social call, bring cupcakes and spears, travelling through the lands of our ally Vespaia, and with the kind permission of The Empire, who hates anyone to miss out on the fun.

New Albia, you get to choose which of your provinces you want to defend in.

The people of New Albia deserve freedom too!

Claymore Tardy with Battles

Post by claymore58 »

Apologies to my (many) opponents. I have been busy entertaining a special guest who has come all the way from Vespaia. A serious deterioration in eyesight, judgment and possibly bladder control has caused a temporary halt in battle action. In addition my son has been hogging CPU cycles (being involved in such childish past-times as World of Warcraft and Call of Duty 2). Hopefully, I will be able to attend to my FOG duties tonight.

We have to remove RyanDG - he has not logged on since mid June. His areas are removed with the exception of the one which was already invaded by the 'Clan of the Really Lucky on This Occasion'.

For those of you who have gone for Immortal Fire please let me know if you wish to use an army from that expansion too. I'll then update the Players Table accordingly.

Spring is about half way through. So those of you with Event Cards still to play please remember that you must use it or lose it by end of Spring.

I'm catching up on PM's next & posting reduced army totals for some of you.
