When did you recieve the error? At which point? What version of FoG do you have (i.e. the specific army packs you have, and where you purchased them)?

As far as I can tell it is an error displayed when an incorrect password or login is used.

When I click on multiplayer option, I've got a login dialog with my login Christophe.Lechenne@gmail.com, then I use the same password than for this forum, and then I've got such error.

Any idea ?


Why my login / password work for this forum and are ko on FOG ?

I'be got version 1.2.8 on PC/windows XP SP3

Hmmm - it might be that the characters in your login are invalid. The signup should prevent you from using anything other than alphanumeric characters. It's also asking for spam really to use an email address as your login! Nonetheless, we might need to alter your username to something that won't cause problems.

Iain should be able to sort that out for you once he is in the office.

This change will affect both the forum and the ingame account authentication.

I just tried to login Multiplayer and I am getting a Serial number non-existent (Error 3) and bumping out.

I have all of the packs loaded including the new Immortal Fire Beta.

Any ideas to fix this?

Did you use the link in the beta forum to register the serial number for Immortal Fire?

I found the pb : my password contains @ and I couldn't use this char in password field.
I can use it in login field, then I copy it and pasteit in password field and that's it.

A bug to correct in 1.2.9 : allows in @ password field.
