You should check that your firewall(s) are set to allow the FoG.EXE and also the FoGNet.EXE to access the internet.

Is it possible you have other firewalls active? For example on your router.

If you can access the forum then your machine can access the PBEM server, so something is blocking the EXE from getting access to it.

Cheers

Hi, this is Paco a ferni's friend. I'm trying to help him but no way. I disabled the firewall in the router, Kaspersky closed, Windows firewall closed, DMZ enabled in the router and same thing, Multiplayer doesn't works. Any idea??

Something must be blocking the connection in some way. Is it possible that there is an unusual TCP setup on the machine, as the game uses an internal connection to do interprocess communications?

What OS is being used?

Is there any way you can attempt to run the game on a different machine through the same connection?

Cheers

We tried to install it on a laptop but the installation aborts again and
again on file move-light-xxxx.wav !! (I don't remember the xxxx, sorry)

my OS is windows Xp home edition , service pack 3

I will keep trying things but do you have any fog tester application
that you can send to us to test why fog communications are not working?

Regards.
