Cannot Apply 1.2.6 Patch

I've just downloaded FoG and Storm of arrows. The Install went fine. But I've just tried to apply the 1.2.6 patch. All I get is a box appearing saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item".

I assume this may be a security setting somewhere, but everything I've tried has not worked.

We will have the 1.2.8 patch coming any day now so maybe wait for that and see if the problem persists?

I thought the next patch would be 1.2.7. Is there going to be no 1.2.7 patch or did I miss something?

There was a small patch (1.2. to the patch (1.2.7) during testing.

So there will not be a 1.2.7 patch released? Instead it will jump directly to 1.2.8?

Sorry to be so obstinate about this but it just seems confusing to issue a 1.2.7 beta and then release it as 1.2.8.

You will be downloading 1.2.8 I believe. Or else it will be 1.2.7 and then there is a new update button to click to get to 1.2.8.

The beta has moved to 1.2.8 already. If you were on the beta you'd have seen the version update.

It would be mroe confusing to go for 1.2.7 when beta testers already had 1.2.8

Sometimes we do bigger version number jumps for internal reasons.
