1.2.7: AI managed poor units aggressiveness.

In 1.2.7. AI simply moves every poor unit away from enemy line of battle.

Seems to me a little bit too Draconian solution in order to develop what was announced on road map regarding poor and fragmented units...

I have noticed that fragmented units have behavior maybe a bit too similar to routed units....in that they flee directly away from the battle and do not stop themselves until near the edge of the map. Even if they do rally at this point they are generally too far away to make an impact if in mid or late battle. I do like the civilian and mob behavior.

I have also noticed some units in certain situations seem to become frozen. Meaning that they will not come forward to attack a stronger unit right in front of it and will not go a few hexes away to help out his comrade units already engaged or try to find a nearby weaker unit.

just tried 1.2.8, found substantial improvements on this topic.

I agree, too early to really say...but after one game using 1.2.8 I am impressed. The few minor quibles I had with 1.2.7 changes seem to be resolved or improved. This is turning out to be a nice little update.
