Numidian problem

We are doing an historical campaign begining in -280 BC but the numidian army list is only for the first century BC. How do you do to solve this problem?

Is it ok to use one of the late numidian army during punic wars?

Do you think thay could had an early numidian army list arouns the punic wars area?

just use basic stuff...no romans or such...numidians were there long before the carthos and romanos began beating on each other
