Will there be a demo...I like the comic book look...so I imagine where not talking heavly detailed but alot of fun?
I like the turn based system aswell.
How long will a scenario\mission last on average?
Anychance of seeing a video of the game in action?
Will we be able to create new scenarios\missions?
Looking forward to seeing this in action

some answers..
Hi!
While beta testing, I can answer some of your questions!
It's really a lot of fun, but also very interesting and challenging scenarios!
At the moment most of the scenarios are based on 20 - 25 turns!
Scenario editor is a part of game!

It's very historic as Combat Mission or not.
I'm very intrigued by this game

Well I have been playing this one as a beta tester.
This game is 100% fun.
It's a game you actually play, unlike a lot of 'great' games that get all sorts of lauding and praise and in the end don't really get played a lot.
You can sit down and play an entire game before you get back up from your seat.
I am seeing the usual 'beer and pretzels' comments and remarks connected to the graphics. I don't really understand some people though.
The graphics are not meant to be the equal of a cutting edge 200 dollar expert level plastic model kit from the best of the model industry. They're just nice 3d graphics, some animations, and you won't need to wonder, is it a Pz III or a Pz IV. The animations are simple, add a bit to the experience, make you feel like you are having fun playing a GAME. If you want brutally accurate images I can suggest some fine books from my library eh.
I have played some scenarios since the beginning. The other day, I smugly drove up to a location I regularly trash, and dang it, they blew up my damned tank
Yes the game can defeat you. I have had to suck back on some defeats to the AI. But no, I am not here to laud the AI, not my thing. If you want to play a challenge, like always, you want a human shooting at your stuff.
I have liked the playing field of the game. The map size is not ginormous. There's no scrolling scrolling scrolling. I haven't been handed a force of 3000 units that need to be moved each turn
I've enjoyed getting some of my units experienced. It can mean all the difference in a fight. And of course you get attached to those veterans so you get annoyed when one goes down in battle.
I think the creative among us will keep you playing new battles for some time.
The game begins with 30 battles, 3 each of 10. I won't be shocked to find popular game archive locations getting user contributions for this one.
I'm running this on a laptop. Response time is not rapid chop chop snap to it like my much more power PC.
But then my laptop is a few years old now, and I have forced it to run Windows 7, which likely is pushing it to exhaustion before I even start the game hehe.
I CAN see this game as being easy to port to any damn platform Slitherine cares to use. The interface is probably deserving of accolades. We are sooooo used to wargames requiring a manual just to learn the process of running the game let alone play it. This game's interface would have trouble using up 5 minutes of your time. I can't think of a console that couldn't play this every bit as good as your PC.
I might even buy a PSP just to have the game on it. Granted I'll whine about wanting it on my Nintendo DS XL first
I've witnessed Ian making comments about designing games for the iPad. Groan, I can even see you iPad schmucks being able to complain about wanting equal time (you can do your own whining though hehe).
Keep in mind, I have no knowledge of how far afield the game is due to go. This is just me talking. I've only had contact with the PC beta.
I have no personal knowledge of a sale date, wish I did hehe. I will likely be one of the first to buy though.
You can get your copy after I get mine first
