The AI is very dumb as Axis

June '41 and France, Belgium and Holland have still not fallen. The French have managed to cut off and kill two German armor and one mech. Worst, the UK was able to land a BEF that has trapped one ARM, one MECH and one INF.

GS v 1.05. I know that this could never happen against a human. Actually, I didn't even expect it to happen against the AI. The last couple of games it played were better. But this time it kept jutting armor way out in front. It had bad luck against Brussels and the Hague (but captured all the other Low Country cities). I was not planning to counter attack. But since the AI does nothing in the Med, I had already brought back a lot of the British North Africa force, plus the ground units from Canada, in preparation for D-Day down the road. So I had a nice little BEF sitting in England. Saw the opportunity to land near Antwerp then rush up with French INF and ARM and cut off a whole German army. There is no way it will take Paris now. Hell, I may be in Berlin in '42.

Yea - as Staffenburg says GS is meant for Human Players - In GS even if you give the AI maximum advantage - It is not difficult to beat. The challenge is with a Human - Now it gets interesting.
