Cheksum failed

Hi,
I have version 1.12 of CEAW Gold, and GS mod 1.05, install I get an error screen that tells me "Cheksum failed", so that I alter some text in the game.

Why might this be? How I can fix?

The language you choose in the installation is Spanish

The checksum error means that you and your opponent are using different versions of the Grand Strategy mod. If you both use the same version (same patch), the error message stops. That is my understanding.

I'm afraid that's not the problem. The error message I get when starting the game on the splash screen, before starting any game.

Did you alter any of the scenario files?

If you did that could be your problem.

The game checks for the integrity of the scenario files so they match for the expansion.

So you can not have the vanilla game scenario files for GS or visa versa.

The file that is checked for checksum is general.txt. So a checksum failed message means that this file is altered. General.txt contains many of the game rules and settings.

You have to send the changed general.txt file to your opponent ot reinstall the original general.txt file.

I reinstalled the game. Version 1.12
I installed the mod version 1.05 GS

When you start the mod GS, still receive the error message Cheksum failed in the display window before loading any files, of course, there is no saved game files.

Strange?

I have the same problem, although I reinstalled with the English version of the mod
I have reinstalled everything with version 1.06 and the problem is still there
