The DAG system clearly is meant to be the meat and potatoes of the game, although when you factor in all the user made scenarios, there are quite a few to chose from...
Once they start to tweak the editor , allow copy and pasting, the ability to add camps and palisades etc, likley a lot more user made scenarios will crop up.

When FoG was first released I diligently played all the historical scenarios and enjoyed all of them. The only way to play these is against another player because the AI is so weak, but playing a mirror match against a player (playing a battle from both sides) gave some good insight regarding the challenges facing each commander.

I recommend that Slitherine keep producing these with all the expansions, or as done with RoR, add lots of user-generated scenarios to later point releases. Some really good scenarios are created by the mass of people who love doing the research and re-creating battles from history.
