1) Would it be better to call the lancer banners "Lancer banners", and the shooty ones "Volley banners"?

OK this is from the 15th century, but functionally the later army seems exactly the same - so maybe the nomenclature should be the same.
If so, I rather like it.
Whatever the nomenclature, I think the troops notes should explain the difference between the two different classifications as being the relative proportion of lancers and shooters.
2) Shouldn't there be date ranges for the Landsknechts units with and without integral shot?

Yes for consistency, as this is the terminology used in the Later Polish list in Eternal Empire (with textual explanation) around page 32. If I understand correctly that strzelczy means "shooter" there is little reason to think this changed until possibly a new term was introduced to make a distinction when firearms became common (though it seems more likely the new term would be for gunners than that the old one would change).rbodleyscott wrote:1) Would it be better to call the lancer banners "Lancer banners", and the shooty ones "Volley banners"?
On the Haiduks, if they do get Swordsmen as in other lists then it would be tactically worthwhile and more interesting in the starter to substitute 6 Haiduks for one of the four Draby BGs and pay for the swords cost by dropping 2 of the FF (this still leaves two minimum size groups of 4 FF, though I can't think of a good use for more than one).

Indeed.
Don't think so. Landsknechts are only available 1550-1576 (the end of the list) and there are no date limited options that would be affected. It does allow the integral shot BGs about 10 years before normally allowed, however, I'm not sure it is worth putting a limitation in (we've tried to avoid too many such restrictions in FoG lists after all).2) Shouldn't there be date ranges for the Landsknechts units with and without integral shot?

There was a reason I didn't give them Swordsmen in this list - not that I can remember it at the moment

Can't find what ever it was that was the reason - so I've put Swordsmen in.nikgaukroger wrote:MikeK wrote:On the Haiduks, if they do get Swordsmen as in other lists then it would be tactically worthwhile and more interesting in the starter to substitute 6 Haiduks for one of the four Draby BGs and pay for the swords cost by dropping 2 of the FF (this still leaves two minimum size groups of 4 FF, though I can't think of a good use for more than one).
