I'm not sure if I can help, because in theory you are only allowed to fight a player in one province and I'm currently fighting Deadtorius in one of his home provinces.
Peter G: Is relieving an ally included in this limitation?
I have read the rules, and apparently we have to wait for Peter to decide when my relief army arrives - presumably there is a chance the city may fall before it does.
hidde wrote:Deeter, I appreciate your offer but me and deadtorius are using SoA armies so I belive the relief force has to be one too.
Nope, an RoR army can fight an SoA army providing that both sides agree to this (I can't see many SoA armies refusing to fight RoR armies - they should, on average, be better).
For some reason I was under the impression that the rules for LW didn't allowed it. I'm probably wrong.

From what I understand since I won two battles in Sambre, although not consecutive in the same 'chain' of battles, that province falls to me, however the Nervii now have the option invading it to get it back.
If I am mistaken please correct me, if not should I expect a bunch of furry barbarians in the near future?
deeter wrote:Yes you can. My Seleucid Utopians aren't afraid of people in tin cans. Sahll I march?
Deeter Magnus of Utopia.
Yes, I see that now from the link Morbio provided.
And thank you again, but rbodleyscott has already taken the role as my saviour and I can only ask one ally. That I've checked:
Having done this he may issue a call to one ally only for a relief army to be sent. The ally must send such an army if the alliance is by marriage - otherwise he may refuse. If he refuses you cannot try another ally in that season.
How about join me in my crusade against Crimea & Pantheria instead!?
Hidde my apologies for not posting the battle results, but I forgot that the game had ended in your turn and never checked results until I saw your posting
So RBS is coming to save the day is he? Anyone know if I can call for more troops from home before the army of reinforcer's arrives?

iversonjm, mercenary for hire, are you?:P
A bit funny because I was just about to announce a call to arms against the all-conquering menace that is the wicked alliance between Crimea and Empire of the Panther.
As a beacon of light in times of tyranny and oppression Canaan armies will march against the evil duo . All nations that holds freedom and independence dear should join!
I have an agreement with Rome for free passage to Pantherland if anyone wonder.
I'll try to get the challenges up and pm password later tonight. No later than tomorrow I promise.
Yeesh. I offer to send a relief army and he invades me. Feel the love.
The highlanders came close to defeat in their invasion of Canaan, as they were forced to do battle on cold, wet mountain-top (we prefer warm fireplaces and strong drink).
Howver, they just managed to hold out until their Free company opponents were exhausted.
Free Company defeat (hidde)
Casualties 18,859/52,000
Impressed by the bravery of the defeated army, Clan Brave declares that on capture of this province in revenge for the unprovoked assault on the Highland nation, they will offer a generous peace with Canaan and join their attack on the evil Crimean/Pantherian menace that threatens the Freedom of the Lost World.

No doubt they were tripped up by their renaissance frippery. The Horde awaits word as to whether Lord Deadtorius wishes to lead more of his overdressed lambs to the slaughter.
According to the map you two are not at war! You have to keep Scar informed. Please advise who is attacking whom & in which area.

Highland & Isles Army (davouthojo)
Casualties 14,906/75,000
BP 24/55
Low Countries Army (ianiow)
Casualties 26,827/67,500
BP 59/52
Will they continue to battle the forces of the free, or let their province taste the heady wine of liberty?
I can't see this war on the map. Please keep Scar informed & also let me know which area is being defended. I assume from the opening lines that Rhodes is defending.

Correct - as each battle result is posted, from any war, I roll to see if the relief army arrives. The city may fall in the meantime.
Noted that a Kappadokian relief army has begun it's march.

Peter G: Is relieving an ally included in this limitation?
The limitation was to stop all the counter-invasions & the confusion it was causing (plus all the work Scar had to do to keep the map upto date with that many wars).
A relief army is an exception as if it breaks the seige it then goes home. However the rule that you may only call to one ally remains - in Canaan's case it's Kappadokia.
This makes two defeats for the invaders. We assume that means they skulker back and leave us to our bubblebathettes.
Gentlemen - by what means have you increased the size of your respective army? What have I missed (other than witchcraft or a trip to the virtual model shop) ?
