Problem with accepting and abandoning Challenges

I've inadvertently accepted challenges that I can't play because I don't have Storm of Arrows.

But since I can't start the game I can't abandon the game

That must be it. I've got 1.2.5, not 1.2.6

I wasn't aware 1.2.6 had been released.

With prior updates you weren't able to play multiplayer if you didn't have the most recent. Is that not the case then between 1.2.5 and 1.2.6?
