Touller vs. Museum- Who is the best for 15mm Mongols?

Post by lonehorseman »

Hi there.

Looking at figures for Mongols (roughly 1216AD) and it has come down to Alain Touller and Museum Miniatures. Which of these would you guys recomend for looks and efficiency in posting etc.

Thanks

I like Museum but you do have to pick and chose as those on armoured horses do seem larger than the rest of the range but they do paint up well? sorry have'nt got any of the others.

Forgot to say they are well small compared to essex can't really mix them

I dont like museum anything but have a few fo the touller figs adn they are all good but a little on the smaller side when compared to some other ranges.

I woudl either go for the touller figs or wait until legio heroica bring their range out (coming soon apparently).

I might even consider Essex (despite the huge cart horses). Smallness is not an issue as Mongols are smaller than most and ride ponies.

Think I will wait and see how Legio Heroica looks, the figure look pretty nice in the other ranges. Maybe if Khurasan brought out a range sculpted by Clibanarium I would wait for that (hint hint)

Thanks for the feedback guys
