How do you post diagrams that I've seen Hammy post

Well, yes. But it does answer the implied question in your post.

If the question was how do you post diagrams that are similar to Hammys, or how do you post diagrams like those posted by Hammy, my answer would have been not to post as I have no idea.

Do them in Word or similar. Save as a bitmap. Upload to photoshop or similar. Paste "img" code into post like this

[img']http//:thingy form photoshop[/img']

without the '

Dave, quote a forum message with an image in. You will then see it with code, no image. Then just go back so you don't post some rubbish.

I find Powerpoint much easier for creating diagrams as you can create, colour and align your pictures very easily. I did this one by creating a red and blue block (using the scales on the side/top to get the proportions right) , then using copy and paste to build up the BGs to the required number of bases/formation. Then add labels, arrows etc to taste:

I would use JPG rather than Bitmap because the picture file is much smaller.
