It takes 2 wins for an attacker to force the defender out of an area. You can fight more than 2 battles in order to achieve this but with 500 point armies after 2 such battles there is often little left - so a win each for instance may not leave enough for a 3rd battle. However I can't give an absolute ruling on this because event cards may reinforce one or both armies (or a different card may reduce an army).
I merely want to stop a player from hanging on in an area when they have clearly lost the campaign hence the only rule is that the defender may not continue if the attacker wins twice.
If you both win a battle it is unfair for me to impose a rule that there cannot be a 3rd battle.

Let me remind the Egyptian bubblebathiacs that a 500pts aremy is waiting for them if they continue their foolish endeavour.Blathergut wrote:PG:

Looking at the latest map of the Lost World, Emperor Morbio is concerned about the kingdom of Parthia, clearly it is being ravaged by agressive neighbours. Emperor Morbio is concerned for the people of Parthia and what may become of them if marauding forces take control. He is also concerned what will happen to Morbious if Parthia succumbs to such power-hungry aggressors. Accordingly, for the good of the people of Parthia, Morbious will send an army to increase stability and protect the people.

Looking at the latest map of the Lost World, Emperor Morbio notices that Eupatoria is an ally to 2 countries that Morbious is at war with. This is a threat to our national security. In order to protect it's citizens it would be best if a safe and friendly buffer is created between Morbious and Eupatoria.

Looking at the same map, the Horde notices that Morbio is at war with its ally, and that all that stands between it and Morbio is another ally. The lancers turn south...Morbio wrote:Looking at the latest map of the Lost World, Emperor Morbio notices that Eupatoria is an ally to 2 countries that Morbious is at war with. Indeed I am. I asked the question yesterday whether you were fighting on ( see other thread p8 ) - I knew you were seeking guidance through your Oracles to the great God PG. I'll post the battle with password "Deadtorius".deadtorius wrote:Morbio, did you are still in my lands are you not? If you are there we will post a challenge for the epic Battle of the Wastelands part Deux.
We await your reply on whether you want to hang around and choke on dust or go back to your fertile green lands from which you came.
To Glory!

PMs as backup
I generally find it works best to use PM as a backup for questions like whether there will be a second battle in a province. Generally better than just assuming someone will read a thread in the forum and respond in a timely fashion.

You could always try the new "hide in the cabbage patch" strategy on them". Actually its not such a daft idea - as it would guarantee to immobilise your opponent who would be doubled up laughing.Blathergut wrote:morbio & hidde...still waiting on PG to give numbers vs morbio before I can decide how to fight each of you.
