New Player looking for advice

Where should a new player look, to start getting involved in some multi player games and leagues?

I have not done any games online yet if FoG, is there a place that helps new folks get started?

Post a challenge just dont password it and you will pick up an opponent in multiplayer fairly quickly. As for leagues etc, post in the forums under a heading that interests you and you should be able to get in.
If you want in to a campaign the Lost World is an open campaign that new players can jump into fairly quickly, look under campaigns in the forum index up top

Just click multiplayer from in game and the game does it all for you

One or more of the starter army scenarios would be good to start with when posting a challenge.

If you are very new to FoG PC and/or TT version and you want help getting to learn the ropes there are many people who will help you through some starter games.

I'll happily play you with advice (during or after) or without if you'd like someone to play against
