The Lost World Campaign

Is there an area with a city under attack yet? Anyone?

Deadtorius forced me to build one in the region he attacked. The two armies waited patientely while it was constructed and now the fighting is on.
Seriously, it's on the map but the umpire have to say if it counts.

BTW is Blathergut, the spark that ignited LWW1 even involved in the fighting anymore?

I knew it! All this because he's desperate to keep New Blathergutria

Yes, he is involved, We are fighting on two fronts (remnant of the old rules).

Yes that city counts - you reap what you sow in this Lost World.

Now that the Summer phase is over future city builds will take 2 seasons to complete.

Both will recover 50% - good question that I hadn't thought of.

Invader needs 2 wins to force defender to concede the area (although the war can then continue in a new area with new 500 point armies).

Just to clarify.....
Me and Hidde have 1 draw
Lets say I win battle # 2
I take it since that is not 2 victories then we simply start over at 500 aps ??
Then i take it if he won battle # 3 its 1-1and 1 (win lose draw)so we would go again at reduced aps... unless it was a draw again (battle #4) then whoever wins battle # 4 gets the territory

Would these battles all be considered part of the same season?

In an attempt to prove that there is more to the Lost World than mere blood & guts (& deceit) the 6 areas which previously belonged to Hyperboria, may that leader rest in peace in his excellant campaign setting, will be re-allocated in the following manner:-

A) Election Vote - you may each PM me which player deserves another area. I need your 1st & 2nd choices please. You may not vote for yourself. The player with the most votes will receive 2 areas. The runner up 1 area. In the event of a tie I'll shoot one of the voters thereby voiding his ballot paper.

B) One of the Areas is for Sale to the highest bidder - it's a rotten area anyway I've heard. PM your bid to me please. In the event of a tie I'll just fiddle the expenses.

C) There will be a Quiz - between my son, my daughter & myself we will come up with the most evil questions imaginable in a range of categories. The winner of the quiz will receive the capital area which includes it's city. The runner up gets one area. In the event of a tie the kids will make you do the quiz again but add a lot more algebra.

Participation in any of the above is entirely optional with no effect on national morale I promise.

A & B are open now & will close at the end of the coming weekend (GMT). The Quiz will be posted this weekend when we've finished compiling it.

I do hope that some of you will participate - so far FoG has taught me 2 things - I'll never make a top general & most of you are as daft as I am

Following the liquidation of the former kingdom of Hyperboria, who or what will fill that slot in the map grid? At the moment I currently only have 7 neighbors available for Phanagorian tour parties so feel severly disadvantaged by the current vacuum where Hyperborea existed prior to the tectonic upheaval

It has come to your attention that you set out on a minor trek to go for a picnic got lost and ended up in the lands of one of our friends. This is an outrage, why we have even heard rumors that not only did you feed the bears but you did not pick up after yourselves and your garbage was neither green products or recyclable... such disgraces can not go unpunished.

I will consider paying gold for each first choice vote for me for the lands the Great One mentioned as being up for acquisition by such means. Send me you requirements via PM please. If we agree on terms you will be paid in the next campaign turn or whenever the Great One allows it.
