Hi,

I started to created some scenarios dealing with wars between the various German feudal states as well as stuff like the creation of the Swiss confederation. Although I'm from Germany, my knowledge of British and French medieval history is - funny enough - much more profound than that of my home country. So scenario creation is a good means to busy oneself with that part of history.

Anyway, I noticed that the FOG engine does not support unicode, whioch is very unfortunate. When I want to name the Habsburg leader in the battle of Morgarten "Leopold I. of Österreich", its not possible. Of course I can use "Leopold I of Oesterreich", but I don't really like it this way. (No, the .. are not for the funny looks on the O, like in Motörhead or Blue Öyster Cult. An Ö is not an O, and you have to use Oe if you have no Ö in your charset)

To cut a long story short, it would be great to add unicode support to FoG, also looking forward to the expansions dealing with eastern European armies.

+1 vote from me. I think historical naming adds hugely to the flavour of historical scenarios.
