[quote="Paisley"]I ran my 50 unit test for the Swiss... same as before, all in command, 5 front rank leaders.
Run three times, 8 anarchied each time or 16%, approximately 2/3 as much as average pikes did. I presume therefore that quality does apply to anarchy tests.
I notice from the Help document that drilled should pass CMT on 6 or more. You get +1 for being in command and +1 for adjacent a general.
So drilled should be passing a CMT on 5 or more if in command, 4 or more if adjacent the general.
That means we should see anarchy rates for drilled pikes of 1 in 6 or 1 in 12. or roughly 17% and 8% respectively. I'm getting substantially more than that consistently. In fact results consistent with the number needed to pass being 7 for drilled avarage and 6 for drilled superior.
Is there a fault in the coding? Or is the help file wrong?[/quote
The numbers needed to pass a CMT are 7 or higher for drilled, 8 or higher for undrilled. (The help entry lists this as greater than 6 and greater than 7 which is the same requirement.)] These are the same numbers as the TT but quality re-rolls do not apply for the TT.

You're right, I misread, sorry.
So the coding is correct, it just gives undesireable pc results.
Excepy why are drilled superiors anarching less than drilled averages? Does their quality bonus apply?

The help says that re-rolls do not apply but I am not sure if that is correct or not in FoG PC.Paisley wrote:You're right, I misread, sorry.

....where life is beautiful all the time
There's definitely a difference equating to a +1 on the dice. that might equate to re-rolling 1s... hmm...
10/36 chance of failing as drilled in command. Failures with possible rerolls are 7 of those 10.
So 3/10 are certain failures (3/36)
2/10 fail 1/6 of the time (17% so .34/36)
3/10 (approx) fails 1/3 of the time (33% so 1/36)
2/10 fail half the time (50% so 1/36)
So if rereolls count failure is just over 5/36 equating to passing on a 5 or more... so yeah, roughly the same as just a +1 bonus.
Seems to me that rerolls do count.

Why then in my 3 tests of 50 units do superior pikes anarchy substantially less than average ones?
I shall run more tests as time allows to see if the first batch were freaks.
