What happened to the Mac version

I have bought the PC version, but would also like to play it on my Mac Book. Wasn't there a MacOS version of the game?

The Mac version is available here http://www.freeverse.com/mac/product/?id=7020

However, they're still at 1.06 and since Freeverse was bought out by ngmoco (an iPhone/iPop Touch game maker) the odds for an update don't seem good.
