When you launch a replay of your opponent's turn, friendly units that will have a change in status (such as getting routed, or routing and pursuing) are already greyed out. Units that have turned to face a rear attack are already rotated. Lots of other stuff like that, but the E is no longer on evading units until they actually evade.
