Problem with newest patch FOG PC

Downloaded and tried to run the latest patch.

Error message:

"The installer cannot install the upgrade patch because the program being updated may be missing or the upgrade patch updates a different version of the program"

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

You need to have at least v1.1.0 to apply the patch. Are you a Matrix customer? If so for now you'll need to wait for their version of the patch. We're working to improve how this works for the future.

I bought it online from Slitherine 10 days ago. The game doesn't seem to indicate the version anywhere that I can find.

Okay, now I just downloaded Storm of Arrows and I'm getting the same error message.

Something is definitely amiss here.

Found theversion in the lower corner, its 1.1

You almost certainly need to apply the patch first. You can grab it from the Downloads section on the top bar.

If you have further problems I would suggest starting a thread in the FoG tech support forum as more people will see it there.

Thanks Pip, but if you note the initial message it's the patch that generated the first error message.

Ah - OK. There is a thread in the tech support forum which is looking at this issue. If you can post your system details into that thread it might help us to work out the problem.

It sounds like you previously installed the Matrix version or patch and will need to install the Matrix patch v1.2.5 for now. For Immortal Fire we're putting the building blocks in place now to ensure patches are cross compatible. Apologies for the confusion.

Just purchased Storm of Arrows direct from Slitherine as with previous purchases of Field of Glory and Rise of Rome. I downloaded all the patches from Slitherine site and they installed without problems except for Patch 1.2.5 and Storm of Errors. Any fix?

You must install 1.2.5 before you install Storm of Arrows. If you have the Matrix version you'll need the Matrix FoG patch before installing SoA.
