Please let us choose SOA or ROR for Multiplayer games!

SOA is very good and the changes to balance drilled vs undrilled armies make ROR play much better. The difference if marginal, as it should be.

Can Slitherine please priorities a change to the Multiplayer system so that people issue challenges can specify whether they want their challenger to use SOA, ROR or either?

My Gauls are unexpectedly facing a Medieval Burgundian army. May be an interesting line-up, but not the one either of us was planning!

It's already in the game. When you click on the challenges before accepting it, it says that you can use an army from Storm of Arrows only, Rise of Rome only, or any book. When issuing challenges, you can set the same preferences so that people can only respond with Storm of Arrows armies, Rise of Rome armies, or any book armies.

Thanks for the reply - I see it now when I issue a challenge. I guess if I only want to play historical match-ups, I should avoid games where both are permitted.

Yes, we plan to make the system more complete when the next army pack releases so you can specify by book which ones you are willing to fight. E.g. RoR and Immortal Fire but not SoA.
