Question on Restricted area diagram

on the diagram of the restricted area it shows on the far left a unit of LH I believe (Im at work right now) that looks like it just moves straight back, cant really tell by the description.

My understanding is you can never move backward in this game. Is that correct or can you back up in a units restricted area or as on another post to retire fragmented units back away from an enemy?

LH can turn 180 degrees and move.
Also if they make a CMT they can turn 180 move 3 MU and 180 a 2nd time.

So it "appears" they move backward, but don't technically.

ok, thanks, I just wanted to make sure we werent missing something, we didnt see anywhere that it allowed a backward move (moving backwards) I do see the 180 back up and then 180 again, thanks
