Impact and direction of charge

Post by zacknafein »

We have a doubt in our last game about the direction of charge

Image

The Red BG is MF
The Green BG is LH
The Yellow BG is LF

The MF charge the LH and they evade. Could the LF evade if it is contacted? if the LH wsa betwen the MF and the LF could both evade (The LH & the LF)?

Thanks a lot

The LF can evade if the MF can reach them with their (now VMD'd) charge.

If the LH was between the MF and the LF it has to evade first, the LF can then evade if they become the new target. You can't evade the LF before the LH to make the evade of the latter easier.

The LF is a target if the charger would hit them when stepping forward after contacting the LH. If not, they may become a target when the LH evades if the LF is within the normal move distance of the charger. Or alternatively, if the charger rolls high enough to reach the LF on its VMD. If the LF is a target it must decide whether to evade or stand, performing a CMT if trying to stand in the open.
