FOG Group just getting Started in Fargo ND

Post by smaul1 »

Any gamers in the area, give us a shout out and we can play some time. There are 2 of us going now, and a possible 3rd. (not sure he can build an army right now, but he does play)

So far we have Romans, Gauls, Numidians, and Carth.

got the biblical army book and am looking at Hebrews and Philistines.

I know it is slim, but wanted to post.

Welcome aboard.

You almost have enough players to make a team for the US Teams tournament. Start recruiting! 8)

Yeah, don't worry about being newbies or anything, it isn't a high standard ;)

The US Team Tournament is held on MLK weekend each January. Usually in Atlanta, although that may change. It is a wonderful event, with teams from all over the place. The best event in the gaming year, IMHO.

Teams of four players, each playing in one of four "periods" (usually roughly divided into Biblical, Classical, Dark Ages, and Medieval), with the winner determined by adding up the scores of the team members. There are always a couple players looking to pick up on a team that can be called upon to flesh out the numbers. Start saving your frequent flyer miles! :)

As I said, it is my favorite event, and I am always shilling for it.
