.data

Post by gchristie »

This has probably been posted elsewhere (a search function on this forum would be quite helpful) but I've found in one of my PBEM games the turn my opponent sent did not have the .data extension on the turn file. So when I tried to load the PBEM turn the file did not appear in the list. I went into the data/PBEM folder and saw the file but saw that it didn't have the .data extension. So I renamed the file to add the extension and it then appeared in the load PBEM list and worked fine.

Wonder why this happens, but if anyone else is struggling with loading a PBEM game this may be the problem.

Hope this is helpful.

Regards.

Edit: Did this in the large font cause I left my reading glasses at home. Not trying to "shout."

You cut me to the quick, sir! If I had my cane I'd soundly thrash you about the head and shoulders!

Wow, a post I can read w/o my glasses. If you guys quit your bickering, I think you could both send me the turns you owe me.
