Combat Mechanism LF and LH

Under All for determining die numbers, it is causing some confusion at our group.

As I read it the "unless" covers LF fighting LF, LH when fighting LF, LH when fighting LH, not covering the LF when fighting LH.

Am I right?

Correct. So LF are not good against LH (in the open at least)

LH also get "full dice" against fragmented troops

And in uneven ground - no penalty for LH. So the LF better stay in the woods and towns when the Mongol LH are around.
