My Scenario Designer does not directly support RoR units.
I want to drop half-a-dozen Pontic (late) Chalybes into
a scenario. The unit menus do not display any Pontic units
at all, nor do they display an option to select the RoR
subdirectory that holds the XML files that define the
RoR units. How do I do this?
It's like the Scenario Designer is completely unaware of the
RoR expansion.
Yes, I can print out the XML text, and refer to that piece of
paper while I grab an image, and then edit the unit stats and
the unit name to get them to match the XML, and then do it
all over again (and again and again...) to get six Chalybes.
This doesn't seem right IMHO. I'm I missing a special
key combo, or a mouse gesture somewhere? Do I have a bad
install?
I have Matrix FoG, Matrix RoR, and the Matrix patch 1.1.2.
I tried to get help in the Scenario Design board
(see "How to use RoR armies in Scenario Designer?"),
but no joy.
If the Scenario Designer is "supposed" to work this way,
then I respectfully request that it be fixed to provide
direct menu support for RoR and all future expansions.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
(I do understand that any such scenario that uses RoR units
will not be playable by someone who does not have RoR. Not a
problem.)
