Bloody dice

Post by Scrumpy »

Has anyone managed to match the following from a game last night ?

In one melee phase, 3 sets of snake eyes on the dice in 3 throws ! Whch saw my centre go from reasonably strong to jelly in a blink of an eye as one unit routed, and two others went fraggy as the dice crapped all over me.

Bloody stupid game.... :D

Nothing to worry about if you are superior. ;)
I've come to fear the 3's in FoG!

Sadly all were average. Although the previous bound the Swiss pike rolled a 2 when testing for a dead general, their re-roll saved them.

Are you sure? One superior BG of mine should test. They was my better troops and they was the center of my game plan. I rolled a doblue one. I fainted, but immediatley I recovered remembering my troops was superior. I said to my opponent with a smile: "They are superior, so I roll again both dice". New roll: 1 and 2! My smile turned to a grimace.

If your superiors can stand rolling three snake eyes in a row then I want an enquiry!

Though of course it's true that the worst is actually the double 2 CT.

not as bad in one turn but in my last game, elephants go disrupted and lose the melee, rolled one on death roll.... poof! so much for my far right

Second elephant 2 turns later rolls a 1 for death roll, poof again, there goes my left anchor

Next turn elite Companion cavalry in 2's, yes you guessed it rolled a 1 for death roll again, expensive poof that time! My pikes did not fair too well from seeing all the auto breaks, to put it mildly I went down to a stunning defeat. Hope that makes you feel slightly better
