Woohoo!! Now I Know: Routers Giving Combat Support

It happened when:

A and B...two friendly BGs...both routed when fighting against enemy E.

Friendly C, who was also adj to E, then attacked, with A directly behind him (having routed) and B beyond A...in a 3-link line so to speak.

When C fought...A and B gave support, as if they were still adj. to E.

That was how it worked.

This was with 1.1.1.

Another weird case of support:



My Roman unit is about to attack a broken Samnite unit. Three non-adjacent Roman units display the support label and, even more strange, a broken Samnite also displays it
