Moving Camp Error

Having looted my opponent's camp last turn I was surprised to see at appear at the bottom left of the battlefield with one of my looting units stuck to it.

Don't know how to paste the image here but have a screenshot I can email if required.

Of course it could just be part of my opponents cunning plan!

Does it stay in the wrong place for the rest of the game, or does it disappear again?

If either of you, or anyone else, finds your camp is still in the map after looting, or appears in the wrong place, please let me know your opponent's name and game start date.

Mine happened during beta testing, so the date is gone. I recall it was a 400p game versus gordeitaf. I'll keep an eye out for any other instances.

My game with this problem was :

D.A.G. Mid-Republican Roman vs Later Carthaginian(in Italy) with TomBombadil711, last update 7 mar. 2010, 18:12. Started on 6 mar. 2010 I think. Still I have it in my Current Games/Results list.

vs mschund started sunday March 7th 156 pm

Seleucid camp was looted and appeared in lower left corner of map later in game. I believe it remained there rest of game (not sure if it could be "relooted")

In a current game with Deeter, Seleucids v Seleucids 400 pts he looted my camp, which a turn or so later appeared at his side of the battlefield along with one of his looting units, who is now happily looting it again. In another current game with Irbert, Later Jewish (Antigonus) v Late Republican Roman, I looted his camp and it has subsequently re-appeared back on his side of the battlefield

That was a wierd one. I got to loot the camp a second time but didn't get more points for doing this. However, the wayward did disappear for good. I've noticed also that the teleporting camp always reappears in the lower left corner of the map.

Of course for me it was the top right. Usually it seems to migrate to the capturing player's side of the map, but in my game with Irbert it returned to his side of the map - top right as I was looking at it.

Found another issue with camps. In one game my opponent's camp has dissappeared and worse my own units are looting my camp!

You didn't recruit your units from a certain city (name withheld to protect the guilty) in the NW of England did you?

They'll nick anything that isn't nailed down

I can see it now, carts with no wheels on piles of bricks

Having had a chance to sack a few camps, I now believe the teleporting camp phenominon happens every time a camp is sacked.

I have this happening too in a agame we are currently playing. I (Carthaginians) looted my rival camp and next turn it appeared again some hexes to the right, on his side of the map.
If Hexwar want to check it, the game is
Late Carthaginians (in italy) vs Spanish / Arsan vs Boores. Started on 8 march.

My favourite so far is a game where my opponents camp, without getting looted, has teleported on top of my camp where now my camp guards have started to loot it - gifts from the gods!

The closest bit of good fortune I had was when one of my LH broke off from combat and ended up next to my opponents camp and proceeded to loot it at the start of their turn

Same problem in 650 pt MP with Hoplite1963 (started 11 March). Both camps originally appeared next to each other in the right centre of the map. I moved mine in the deploy phase but on the first turn it jumped back to where it had been. Currently looting enemies', although I didn't see a 'loot' icon so will await events.

Successfully looted his unfortified camp which has now disappeared. But in moving past my fortfied camp it has changed into his unfortified camp and my adjacent BGs are now looting that!
