New to FOG and just purchase old glory Seleucid boxed army

I have a question about the bag labeled CDR, There are 3 mounted figures in the bag and 4 each of the following a foot cmd, a banner bearer, and horn player. I understand what the 3 mounted figs are for cmd and to sub generals but what are all the other foot troops in this bag with the banners for? For the Pike and the Argyraspids? Just curious...

At a guess I would say you are going to put more than just your general on a base so maybe one mounted general and 3 foot soldiers per base.

I don't see many generals alone on a base.

I purchased some Old Glory Command minis a while back and they came with the same numbers and models. Originally I intended to make command bases out of a mounted officer and one each of the NCO, Standardbearer and musician. But have since decided to make command bases with extra cavalry models and use the infantry command 3 pack in each of my Spearmen units. Although I have enough to likely make a mix of both, the infantry units look so much better with those 3 chaps in the front rank.

The choice is yours, just thought I would give you some options.

yea thats what I was thinking 2 sets of 3 for the pike units and 1 set of 3 for the Argyraspids.

One last question. I purchased the scythed chariorts bag and it came with 4 chariot "hulls" and four drivers but only 8 horses. Are there supposed to be 4 chariots in the pack or just 2 and I got the bonus plan with the extras?
