Cavalry walking on water.

Post by Gunjin »

I just played a DAG game Late Rep Romans vs Antigonid Jews. The battlefield had a lot of stream and water hexes.
During the movement phase you could see that BG's could not move into a water hex. Yet when I was in melee with some cavalry and they chose to break off, they somehow manages to walk on water and cross the water hex. This was no so for infantry. when they where trapped against a water hex and routed, they where destroyed.

Cavalry should not be able to move into a water hex under any circumstance.

Anyone else experience water walking cavalry!

Can you send a screenshot - I suspect it was a stream rather than water they were on?

Oh, what troops were they? I'd like to hire any troops that can walk on water or have any other god-like abilities - throwing thunderbolts perhaps? :P

I've found something similar - my opponent has a cavalry unit stuck on water unable to move.

Mail it to info@slitherine.co.uk referring to this thread. Its fiddly to post them to a thread as you to host them off site.
