Multi-player display issue

For some of my multi-player games, my opponents name is displayed for some and name plus side for others. Previously this was always name plus side. Seems to be inconsistent for both games I started before the patch and for ones started since for scenarios. I'm not sure what the intended behavior is for D.A.G. battles but so far neither of those shows a side withthe player name.
