Tabletop gaming using the "hexed" digital rules

Post by spring »

Hello all,

I've been a fan of hex based games since a long time for some reason (i think it's easier for me to see where to go and what to do
with hexes) and am trying to use the digital rules for my TT games.
Looks like most of the rules can be used as they are but the combat aspect need to be adapted as it works with percentage which
might be a bit heavy for TT games.
Did anyone already try the idea and found a quick way to deal with this percentage question?
I'm working on it but have yet to find an elegant solution :)
Any idea?
I'm aware that the obvious would to use the TT rules but i REALLY like the hexes and more than 3/4 of the work is done with the digital
rules.

Why not just use percentile dice (two ten or twenty sided dice marked 0-9 - obviously the tewnty sided versions have each number twice)? You designate one as tens and the other as units (different colours helps). a roll of 00 counts as 100.
