Norse Irish

Post by MatthewP »

Just thinking of getting a Norse Irish and wondering which manufatures are the most popular for them? I quite like the mix available from Essex and Black Hat. However most figures do seem to have a shield which is a bit of a shame. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

My only thought would be, most Irish didn't own a shield.

Splintered Light look fantastic but they are for an earlier period.

LKM (QRF) - Big axes no shieds - Hoorah.

Do you know if they can be mixed with Essex figures for added variety?

I think they'd mix OK.

Yeah, a few of us have been trying to convince the proprietor to make a Norse-Irish type with 2 handed weapons - no luck so far.
