Sentinum scenario

I've prepared this scenario about the battle of Sentinum, fought in 295 BC between the Romans and the allied forces of Samnites and Gauls and it seems quite balanced.

I really enjoyed this one. I refused the Samnites and hammered forward with the Gauls. Managed to defeat the Roman left & got enough Gauls back to stop the Samnites being crushed. It was close though.

Well done!
The tactic is specular to the one I used with the Romans to the defeat the enemy, refusing the flank opposite to the Gauls and charging stright forward to the Samnites.

Hi, I'm just looking to play this as Multiplayer for the 1st time. In mousing over the units I see some odd things and I wonder if there is a couple of mistakes in the setup or if it is a 'feature'.

The units in question are the Auxilia on the Roman right flank. The 2 at the rear are Average, Drilled, Protected Heavy Foot. The 2 at the front are 1 Average, Undrilled, Protected, Medium Foot and 1 Average, Drilled, Protected, Medium Foot.

For comparison, the Auxilia on the Roman left flank are all the same, all 4 are Average, Drilled, Protected, Medium Foot.

I suspect they should all be Average, Drilled, Protected, Medium Foot.

If they are meant to be different, then should they have different icons? It will cause problems for both players if you have to mouse over them to see the difference.

In fact you're right and what you spotted is a mistake and should be corrected.
All the auxilia units were intended to be Average, Drilled, Protected, Medium Foot.
If Keith or other member of Slitherine read this message, maybe they could adjust the problem in the version now inserted in the game.
